My beautiful new accessories from Liana Kabel arrived today! Look, there is a vintage Jack & Jill necklace and three of her Knitwit bangles!

Liana is a really talented Australian designer, and she uses vintage Tupperware, old knitting needles and other discarded plastics in her work, which I love. Her retro designs are right up my street!

Thanks you Jennie for telling me about Liana and also for your savvy advice about EFTPOS machines, I've signed up for one today!

I am hooked on clothes shopping at the moment (probably because I have Spring in my sights!) and my latest online shopping fix is Top Shop UK. I used to spend my teenage Saturdays at Top Shop and was thrilled to find that they will ship any amount of lovely clothes to Australia for only £10! My favourite find is this Apron-Style top (£20):

As well as new clothes arriving every day, they also have an online vintage dress shop. I sadly missed out on this 1960's Green Daisy Dress (it was my size too!), but there are plenty of other frocks to choose from, including lots of 70s maxi-dresses, some by top designers.

Top Shop also have a cool baby range - look at this cute Polly Pocket Top for only £6!.

WELCOME baby James, born in Berlin a few days ago to the luckiest and most lovely parents on the planet! We'd just love to pop over for a big

Hurrah, my new Boden spotty dress arrived today. I have been pining for this dress for months, and when the summer sale started I snapped it up! The only problem is, the weather today in Daylesford looks like this...

and this...

The snow is falling thick onto the ground, yet these daffodils have managed to grow.

So roll on spring, spotty dresses, baby lambs and sunny mornings!

I have to make over this very cute 'Mobile Home' dollhouse for an upcoming design fair. Twenty designers have been selected and we each have to give our house its own flavour. Panic. What to do? After a bad night, with our 3-year-old-waking us up at 4am because his sock had developed a hole, and the smoke alarm in our bedroom falsely going off at 6am, I am not at my creative best today. I am thinking of doing something with vintage storybooks, but that's as far as I have got. Any ideas?

Speaking of storybooks, CONGRATULATIONS to Colleen and Leslie, winners of the Rosie Flo colouring book competition I ran last week. You'll be receiving your books soon, and thanks to everyone who entered! The books are still available for sale HERE.

This is Jacob's room.

It is the first room to be decorated in our house. Over the last nine months we've been renovating the whole place and finally the painters are here to put some colour on to the plasterboard walls. It's been a huge project - two old houses brought together, moving around bathrooms, building a laundry, replacing windows, replastering almost every wall - so I am VERY excited to at last be looking at paint swatches and thinking about where our stuff will go!

This is the colour scheme for the main living area and hallway - whilst renovating we found many old Victorian wallpapers beneath the plaster, and this new paper is very reminiscent of one of them. I love it and can't wait to see it go up!

I added some more books to my collection of vintage Enid Blytons today! I especially love the images on these 1950s Famous Five books.

YAY! Lark is 'Buy of the Day' at Marie Claire UK today - see us HERE !

My dear blog friend Anastasia was lucky enough recently to find several vintage sewing pattern books, full of 1950s-1970s pattern designs. Can you imagine? Anastasia makes wonderful collages with vintage images, so they are perfect for her work. Knowing that I would LOVE them, she sent me a whole stack of pages with patterns for dresses, hats and all kinds of lovely things. They arrived today and the illustrations are fabulous, I am so excited - I can't wait to make these into something!

Brrrr... another icy cold day.....
Lark has been offered a stall at Magnolia Square, Melbourne's most stylish craft market (their slogan is 'not a frilly tissue box in sight'!), which takes place three times a year. Here are some of the other lovelies that will be on sale.

The dates are 16th-18th August at St John's Anglican Church, 5 Finch Street, East Malvern. Come and say hello!

Magnolia Square supports the National Breast Cancer Foundation through the sale of delicious cupcakes from the Crabapple Bakery -so if ever you needed an excuse to eat lots of cupcakes, this is it!

The Veggie Rattles are in Junior Magazine (the Australian version) this month, and the Doughnut Rattles are in the British edition (thanks to Lapin & Me). Yippee!
